For my Producing Commercials course, I created a trailer for The Queen's Gambit by selecting episode footage and strategically choosing the music to guide pacing, emotion, and narrative tension. Edited in Adobe Premiere Pro, the project went through multiple drafts as I refined timing, sequence, and transitions to build a trailer that felt both visually intentional and emotionally layered. Each clip was chosen to reflect Beth Harmon’s rise as a chess prodigy while simultaneously revealing the pressure, isolation, and addiction shaping her story, with a strong focus on juxtaposition to create contrast between success and vulnerability.
